Chat answers backed by Discover listings, location detection works everywhere
· Xenition
Today we improved how chat answers are generated — they now draw from real Discover listings — and made location detection work more consistently, no matter what language you use or where you are.
Features
- Chat answers now rely on real listings from Discover, making them more reliable.
- Your location is now reliably detected: the 'nearest' search uses your actual location, detection works in any language, and when the browser can't provide one, it falls back to your account city.
- The AI model now knows your general location for better answers.
- Added three new use-case films and an agents film to the video shelf, available in 36 languages. The use-case section is now a scrollable reel.
- Added a promotional film showcasing the agent: one job, three tools, use-case led.
Fixes
- Fixed an issue where engines would not answer if no source was provided.
- Fixed an issue where custom background images and voices were being removed.
- Chat now correctly routes location-based queries to the search system.
- Fixed the wordmark being clipped on branded background with Ken Burns effect.
Improvements
- Branded use-case posters now include mark, wordmark, title, and runtime.
- Improved reel sizing and made the focused card fill the stage.
