Clearer verdicts, smarter suggestions, and better data accuracy
· Xenition
Today we focused on making ASO insights clearer and more accurate. We fixed several errors in suggestions and added deeper analysis of app metadata.
Feature
- Verdict pages now include descriptions explaining what each of the four possible outcomes means.
- Uploading a file now fills in all storefronts listed in it at once.
- You can now hover over a verdict to see the reason behind it. Field labels have also been updated to match industry terms.
- The top of your app list now shows how many apps you are tracking.
Fix
- Fixed advice that incorrectly told users to remove words from a field that was never analyzed.
- Fixed the Add verdict tool, which was making recommendations based on fields it hadn't analyzed.
- Stopped recommending other companies' brand names in ASO suggestions.
- Improved detection of rival names to capture the full listed name, not just the brand word.
- Fixed an issue where some users couldn't download Apple's report.
Improvement
- The analysis now reads and grades your app's subtitle, giving a more complete picture of your metadata.
- We have switched to Apple's actual popularity data. Any data sourced from Apple is now clearly labeled.
- Suggestion counts now come directly from Apple, improving accuracy over our own calculations.
