Text Repeater

Repeat text N times with a chosen separator.

Repeats a word, emoji or line of text as many times as you ask, joined by a separator of your choice. People use it to build test data, fill placeholders or make a message for a chat.

How to use Text Repeater

1. Enter the text in Text to repeat.
2. Set How many times, from 1 up to 10,000.
3. Type a Separator, such as a comma and space. The default \n puts each copy on its own line, and \t inserts a tab.
4. Copy the output shown below.

How it works

The text is copied the chosen number of times and joined with the separator. The count is capped at 10,000, and zero or a negative number produces nothing. In the separator, \n becomes a line break and \t a tab, wherever they appear; everything else is used exactly as typed, including spaces, and no separator is added after the last copy.

Questions about Text Repeater

How do I get the copies with no gap between them?

Delete the \n from the Separator field so it is empty. The copies are then joined directly, so ha three times gives hahaha.

How do I make a tab-separated or comma-per-line list?

Type \t for tabs, which paste into spreadsheet cells side by side. Escapes can be combined with text, so “,\n” puts a comma at the end of every line but the last.
