Roll any number of dice with any number of sides.
Free to use, no sign-up required. Dice Roller is one of 198 tools built into Xenition, alongside a chat that can use them for you.
Rolls a tray of mixed dice (d4, d6, d8, d10, d12 and d20) with an optional modifier, for board games and tabletop role-playing games.
Each die shows a whole number from 1 to its number of sides, drawn with the browser’s Math.random, so every face has the same chance. The total is the sum of all faces plus the modifier. The notation line groups dice by type, for example 2d6 + 1d20 + 3.
Two d6 and a d20 with a +3 modifier read as 2d6 + 1d20 + 3. The total can be anything from 6 (1 + 1 + 1 + 3) to 35 (6 + 6 + 20 + 3).
Once. It is added to the sum of all the dice, as in 2d6 + 3, not to each die.
Add two d20s and press Roll, then use the higher face. The tool shows each die, but the Total adds both together, so ignore it for advantage rolls.
You do not have to open Dice Roller to use it. Ask Xenition in plain language and it runs the right tool, then carries the answer into whatever you are working on — a document, a spreadsheet, a deck.
