Today’s five daily prayer times for your location, with the next prayer highlighted.
Free to use, no sign-up required. Prayer Times is one of 198 tools built into Xenition, alongside a chat that can use them for you.
Lists today’s Fajr, Sunrise, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha times for your location and marks the next prayer, for planning the day or checking times when travelling.
Times come from the AlAdhan timings API for your latitude and longitude, sent with the location’s time zone. The method sets the sun angles used for Fajr and Isha; the list offers Muslim World League, ISNA, Karachi, Umm al-Qura, Egyptian Authority, Gulf Region, Kuwait, Qatar, Singapore (MUIS), Diyanet (Turkey) and Moonsighting Committee. Standard computes Asr when an object’s shadow equals its length plus its noon shadow; Hanafi waits until it is twice its length plus the noon shadow.
The card shows today’s date, then six tiles with 24-hour HH:MM times, one of them highlighted as next.
Authorities use different sun angles for Fajr and Isha, typically between 15° and 19.5° below the horizon. Match the method to your region and the times usually line up.
The Hanafi school starts Asr when a shadow reaches twice an object’s height instead of once, which is often 30 to 60 minutes later.
You do not have to open Prayer Times to use it. Ask Xenition in plain language and it runs the right tool, then carries the answer into whatever you are working on — a document, a spreadsheet, a deck.
