Recommended daily water from body weight and activity.

Estimates a daily water target from body weight plus extra for exercise, and shows it in litres and 250 ml glasses. It is an estimate, not medical advice.
Base = 35 ml per kg of body weight. Exercise adds 350 ml for every 30 minutes, prorated by the minute. Total = base + exercise. Glasses = total ÷ 250 ml, rounded to the nearest whole glass. Heat, illness, pregnancy and breastfeeding are not factored in.
70 kg with 30 minutes of exercise: 70 × 35 = 2,450 ml from body weight plus 350 ml from exercise, 2.8 L in total, or about 11 glasses of 250 ml.
Yes. Tea, milk, soup and water-rich foods such as fruit all contribute, and food typically supplies around a fifth of daily water.
It is a rule of thumb, about 2 L. Body size and activity change the need, which is why a 70 kg person who exercises gets closer to 2.8 L here.
You do not have to open Water Intake to use it. Ask Xenition in plain language and it runs the right tool, then carries the answer into whatever you are working on — a document, a spreadsheet, a deck.
