Duration between two dates and times.
Free to use, no sign-up required. Time Between is one of 198 tools built into Xenition, alongside a chat that can use them for you.
Measures the exact duration between two dates and times, down to the minute. Useful for timesheets, travel, event lengths and elapsed-time questions.
Both values are read as local time on your device and subtracted. The difference is floored to whole minutes, then split into days, hours and minutes. Totals show hours to 1 decimal place and days to 2. If To is before From, the tool shows the absolute difference and says so.
From 2 March 2026 09:15 to 20 March 2026 17:45 is 18d 8h 30m, which is 2 weeks 4 days. The totals are 26,430 minutes, 440.5 hours and 18.35 days.
Yes, and correctly so. The times are local, so a span that crosses a clock change is an hour shorter or longer in real elapsed time than the wall clocks suggest.
No. The inputs are to the minute, and the result is rounded down to whole minutes.
You do not have to open Time Between to use it. Ask Xenition in plain language and it runs the right tool, then carries the answer into whatever you are working on — a document, a spreadsheet, a deck.
