Draw k unique numbers from a range.
Free to use, no sign-up required. Lottery Numbers is one of 198 tools built into Xenition, alongside a chat that can use them for you.
Draws a set of unique random numbers from a range, such as 6 numbers from 1 to 49, for lottery tickets, raffles and games.
The tool builds the full range from 1 to the highest number and removes one number at a time at a random position, chosen with Math.random, so no number can come up twice. The result is sorted from lowest to highest. The highest number is capped at 1,000, and asking for more numbers than the range holds draws every number in it. There is one pool only, so a separate bonus or power ball needs a second draw with its own range.
6 numbers with a highest number of 49 gives six different sorted numbers, such as 4 11 23 30 38 47.
No. Every combination is equally likely in a fair draw. For 6 from 49 there are 13,983,816 combinations, so any one ticket has a 1 in 13,983,816 chance of the jackpot.
Draw your main numbers, then change How many numbers to 1 and the Highest number to the bonus range, and press Draw again. The two draws are separate, so the bonus can repeat a main number.
You do not have to open Lottery Numbers to use it. Ask Xenition in plain language and it runs the right tool, then carries the answer into whatever you are working on — a document, a spreadsheet, a deck.
