Pick one or more random items from your list.
Free to use, no sign-up required. Random Picker is one of 198 tools built into Xenition, alongside a chat that can use them for you.
Chooses one or more random items from a list you paste in, for raffles, giveaways, picking a restaurant or deciding who goes first.
Each line is trimmed and blank lines are ignored. Picks are drawn without replacement using Math.random: once an item is chosen it is removed from the pool, so the same line cannot win twice in one draw. If you ask for more picks than there are items, every item is returned in random order.
With Alice, Ben, Chloe, Dev and Emma on five lines and 2 picked, the result is two different names, such as Dev and Alice. Each name has a 2 in 5 chance of being chosen.
Enter their name on more than one line. Each line is a separate entry, so a name listed three times is three times as likely to be picked first, and can be picked more than once in a multi-pick draw.
Yes. Picks are listed in the order they were drawn, so the first line can serve as first place and the second as runner-up.
You do not have to open Random Picker to use it. Ask Xenition in plain language and it runs the right tool, then carries the answer into whatever you are working on — a document, a spreadsheet, a deck.
