Random identities by gender, culture name set, and country.
Free to use, no sign-up required. Name Generator is one of 198 tools built into Xenition, alongside a chat that can use them for you.
Produces random full names for characters, test accounts, sample data and placeholder profiles, drawn from six cultural name sets.
Each press makes eight names with Math.random. Every set has 16 male first names, 16 female first names and 10 surnames, and a name is one first name plus one surname, so repeats within a batch can happen. With Random gender each name gets its own coin toss. Starts with is case-insensitive and matches the start of the first name. The Country is a label shown beside each name; it does not change which names are used.
Bengali, Female and Starts with Fa gives names such as Farzana Rahman or Fariha Chowdhury, because only Farzana and Fariha match Fa.
Each set gives 160 combinations per gender, and every name in a batch is drawn independently, so duplicates are possible. Press Generate names again for a new batch.
Yes. The set’s usual countries are listed first under Suggested, and every other country follows under All countries.
You do not have to open Name Generator to use it. Ask Xenition in plain language and it runs the right tool, then carries the answer into whatever you are working on — a document, a spreadsheet, a deck.
