A fair random pick — yes, no, maybe. It does not read your question.
Free to use, no sign-up required. Let Chance Decide is one of 198 tools built into Xenition, alongside a chat that can use them for you.
Makes a random pick between yes and no, or a wider set of answers, for when two options feel equal and you want chance to settle it.
The answer is chosen with Math.random, each option having an equal chance: 1 in 2 for Yes / No, 1 in 3 with Maybe added, and 1 in 6 for Fun (Yes, No, Maybe, Definitely, Not now, Ask again later). The cycling animation lasts about 0.9 seconds and has no effect on the result. The text you type is never read or used.
With + Maybe selected and the note “Should I order pizza tonight?”, the result card shows a single answer such as Maybe, with the note and the three options listed below it.
No. Each pick is independent, so with Yes / No it is always 1 in 2, whatever came before.
It works for choices where the options are roughly equal. Many people also notice whether they feel relieved or disappointed by the answer, which tells them what they wanted.
You do not have to open Let Chance Decide to use it. Ask Xenition in plain language and it runs the right tool, then carries the answer into whatever you are working on — a document, a spreadsheet, a deck.
